{Colors Featured: Rendezvous, Romantic, Lovesick}
I went for an emergency run for mascara and came back with these suckers - Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stains. I guess that's how it goes. I am a minimalist when it comes to make up so when I do find a product I love, I am pretty loyal to it. I thought I would share this one with you all, especially because they are such a steal.
Pros:
- Its in between a matte and gloss finish. Not too dry or too glossy and the finish stays for at least an hour.
- Even when the shine wears off the color remains ALL DAY LONG.
- The colors are vibrant and actually show up the color the case is (well isn't that a concept!).
- They are only $8 a pop. Bought these for buy two get one free at ULTA. (Also going on online!)
Cons: It really does "stain" your lips so they must be removed via eye or lip makeup remover. To avoid the kool-aid stained lip look, re-apply after an hour.
So gals, have you tied this product yet? Do have a lip color you are loyal too? Do spill.
P.S. I thought I had found the best mascara ever, but it proved to disappoint yet again:( I will be back after trying out what may be its new replacement.

ReplyDeleteI recently found this product too and LOVE. Tried the color Darling and think it is so fun...because of the finish, most people can probably try a bolder color than they normally would :) Even all my female co-workers are hooked on this too!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try out the lip stains, I think I will give it a go now. The colors are so pretty on you. I have been pretty loyal to my Maybelline Falsies Mascara but recently came across a new mascara thanks to a youtuber. I am now IN LOVE with the Loreal Telescopic shocking extenstions. It has the pink on the end of the wand. I usually don't like those types of wands because they are so skinny but oh my goodness, this one is totally awesome.

ReplyDeleteWhat mascara are you using? I have finally decided that I am always just going to have to combine two different mascaras to get the full look that I want. I use They're Real and the add in Maybelline mascara. I don't wear any make up except for mascara so I have spent a ton of time trying to get the perfect combination, but I still feel like I could find a better one.

DeleteAh thanks for the heads up! I wear Revlon lipsticks (swear by "Fire and Ice" and "Love That Pink"), but haven't tried these. These colors look beautiful on you. I'm going to have to try them!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like something I must try. I like MK liquid lips, but is does run rather expensive (in my opinion). Thanks for showing the different colors on yourself. It gives a honest idea of the color.

Such gorgeous colors, I'll definitely have to try this! Have you tried Maybeline Falsies mascara? It seems to be working pretty good for me.
ReplyDeleteI've used these for a while. I originally wore Clinique's chubby sticks, then I found these less-expensive versions and loved them. I've also heard great things about the YSL lip stain, but it is a little pricey.
ReplyDeleteI bought one of these a few weeks ago. I really enjoyed how it looked on me, but it definitely did stain my lips. At the end of the day when trying to take my makeup off, the middle of my lips were very much the lipstick color and more difficult to take off.

After trying TONS of lip stains these are my favourite. They don't dry out your lips like liquid-stains, and don't settle in the creases of your lips either :) And, the colours are bold!

The orange shade looks stunning on you. Such a great color for Spring! I read somewhere that the Olsen's deliberately whisper "shhhhh" while the photogs snap their pictures to get that face (no, seriously!).

I love how all the colors look on you :) But, i totally agree with you on the long lasting wear... and it takes quite a bit to scrub it all off.

ReplyDeletei got one of these in the shade Honey. its a very light pinky color. not too noticeable, but sweet. this one does not stay as long as the others though. also my fav mascaras are: Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Cat Eyes and Cover Girl's LashBlast. good luck on your search!
